Nivedita Bijoor, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Bijoor graduated Summa Cum Laude from medical school and her family medicine residency. She is the recipient of the “Top US Family Physician” award and one of a handful of physicians that are TRIPLE board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. Her passion for Lifestyle Medicine has helped create a thorough one-of-a-kind Lifestyle Medicine Program called BodyByBijoor which incorporates a highly effective evidence-based integrative holistic approach to the healthcare needs of her community. Dr. Bijoor believes that daily conscious practice in transforming our thoughts to a mindfulness level and applying it to every aspect of our lifestyle, professional and family life is the key to long-term health and wellness. She believes that every patient must be given the opportunity to achieve the best and highest version of themselves through a personalized care approach.

While Internists are trained in adult care ages 18 and up, and Pediatricians are trained in the care of 0-18 years of age, Family Medicine trained physicians specialize in thorough and continuous medical care for all ages, newborn to geriatric, throughout the lifespan of each patient. It’s the most patient-centered branch of medical care where the focus is disease prevention, health empowerment, and patient advocacy. Dr. Bijoor is a well-regarded leader in the healthcare system and a partner for public health. She truly believes in being the medical home for each of her patients where she is available for them 24/7 throughout their life.
